Carlos de Moya at Dominicana Moda 2010

Hi all! Just wanted to share with you guys one of our acclaimed designers of Dominican Republic, Carlos de Moya. I was lucky to have assisted his fashion show at Dominicana Moda 2010.
This year concept's was PULOWI, about primitive and beautiful woman. All designs were very detailed with accessories, they gave a very fresh feeling, free and relaxing. Well since the concept also includes beach (because we live in an island), he used a lot of shells, fishing nets and light fabrics. I personally LOVED it! I am going to randomly choose some pictures since I can't put every single one, hopefully you will like it as much as I do!

Hola todos! Quiero compartir con ustedes uno de nuestros famosos diseñadores de República Dominicana, Carlos de Moya. Tuve la suerte de presenciar la pasarela en Dominicana Moda 2010. 
El concepto de este año era PULOWI, mujer primigenia y bella. Todos los diseños eran detallados con accesorios, daban un sentido fresco, liberado y relajado. Bueno, como el concepto también incluía playa (porque vivimos en una isla), el utilizó muchas conchas, mallas de pescar y telas ligeras. Personalmente a mi me FASCINÓ! Voy a seleccionar algunas fotos al azar para ponerlas aquí ya que no puedo poner cada uno, espero que a ustedes les guste tanto como a mí me gusta!

Dominicana Moda 2010: FINAL/ENDING

Yesterday was the last day of DOMINICANA MODA :( 

Wish it would last forever.  It was so much fun! 

 Ayer fue el último dia de Dominicana Moda :(
Desearía que durara para siempre. Fue tan divertido!

 Marilyn and I was suppose to go to the Giannina Azar show: "Future Couture", unfortunately the tickets were oversold and A LOT of people missed it.  We were very bummed, being that Giannina's collection was very Gaga inspired and thats always fun to watch.

Marilyn y yo estabamos supuestas ir al desfile de Giannina Azar: "Future Couture", desafortunadamente vendieron taquillas demás y MUCHAS personas lo perdieron.  Estabamos desilusionadas, porque supuestamente la colección de Giannina fue inspirado en Lady Gaga y eso siempre es divertido de ver.

It wasn't all lost though,  the event organizers made up for their lack of organization and let us get into the next fashion show...Sexy man...yes, half naked men modelling underwear.  A show mostly filled with cougars and gay men. It was RANDOM, It was HILARIOUS,  It was AWKWARD and i repeat it was HILARIOUS.

Pero no todo estuvo perdido!, para enmendar su falta de organizacion los organizadores del evento, nos dejo entrar al proximo fashion show...Sexy Man...si, hombres medio desnudos desfilando ropa interior. Un desfile lleno en su mayoria, de Mujeres muy adultas y gays.  QUE DIFERENTE, que RISA...que RISA.  Fue demasiado divertido :)
