 Leave it to Katy Perry to add a fun element to the red carpet.  She's always so playful and a bit of sparkle never hurt anyone it is an MTV award show after all. 

 

Marchesa never disappoints.  Always a show stopper. 

Rihanna looks beautiful.

 

Miley! Finally! An age appropriate dress...yet not feeling it.  The dress is pretty but not for a Red Carpet specially that Red Carpet. (I can see that the event carpet is actually "purple" but red sounds better hahaha)

It's a little black dress. You can do no wrong with a little black dress. It's beautiful but there's no "wow" factor...It was safe, she was the Host of the Award Ceremony she should have had a "wow" factor.

 

Kesha dear, I like you baby but you are a hot mess.
